Yesterday we turned around Ellie's car seat, though this event was (quite rightly) overshadowed by her pea-up-the-nose incident. However, today she went for her first long ride in the car. She really liked facing forward! The funniest part was that as we headed out to Concord, Ellie threw out this little gem: "Don't crash, Mama!" (Annette swears she didn't teach Ellie to say this.) Then a few minutes later Ellie noted, "No go that way, Mama. Car comin'!" Two years old and already a backseat driver...we're in for it!
