She's all about the library books

We used to go to the library every Tuesday night, but nowadays we're there at least twice a week. I love how Ellie knows to ask for specific books now; for example, she saw a picture of the book If You Give a Pig a Party on the back cover of If You Take a Mouse to the Movies, so she asked if we could find it at the library. The pig book was there when we went last night, so she was really happy. Next she wants to find If You Give a Cat a Cupcake. How cool is that?

In other news, Ellie and I attended our monthly L. Street meeting last night. She and I decided to spearhead our street's Earth Day cleanup effort, so we dubbed ourselves the L. Street Earth Day Cleanup Co-Captains. I'm psyched! She loves picking up garbage and I love organizing things, so I figure we'll make a pretty good team. More to come on the Earth Day cleanup....
