Cupcake face!

Out to brunch

Mumzy here.
Ellie and I went to the Diner today after church.
Here she is getting ready to go, packing the diaper bag.

Ordering brunch: "My have french toast."

Passing the time waiting for our food by: 1. playing with Legos

2. playing big snake and little snake with playdough

3. kissing Playdough (????)
(I did not teach her to do that.)

and 4. making funny faces at the camera.

Brunch soon arrived and we had a lovely meal!

Playing in the backyard

Mumzy here again.
After enjoying brunch at the Diner, we played in the backyard until it was naptime.
Here are Ellie's adventures.

Climbing in the castle.

"Me a big strong girl."

A visit to the ICA

Ellie and I had such a good time at the Boston ICA this morning! We went to see the Shepard Fairey exhibit (Ellie LOVED seeing her favorite picture of President Obama), but we stayed to participate in their kids' Play Date. Today's Play Date was about architecture and urban planning; each kid designed a building to add to ICA City. We also had lunch outside the museum on the Harborwalk...Ellie especially liked jumping off the wooden steps.

Giving Josephine some love

"My glad you are home, Jo. My so, so happy! MWAH!"

Ellie in a toy basket

Josephine is home!

Annette just woke me up to say she heard meowing outside, so I tore down the stairs and ran outdoors. When I got out there, I heard yowling and the tinkle of a little kitty bell. And when I called for Jo, she jumped off the roof (!!!!!) and ran into my arms! She's eating now and seems just fine. Thank you again for your well wishes for her!

Creating art

Come home, Josephine!

I'm so sad to report that our little kitty Josephine has gone missing. She was here for dinner last night, but today she missed breakfast and lunch (this NEVER happens; the girl loves to eat!). I've searched the entire house several times, but it's possible that she escaped last night as we brought in groceries. Please keep her in your thoughts and send her your best "come home soon" vibes!

A gift from Auntie Heidi & Uncle Chris

Auntie Heidi and Uncle Chris sent this dress to Ellie...it's from San Antonio and Heidi says that she had one just like it when she was a little girl. How sweet is that? Thanks so much, you two--we love it!

We're ba-ack!

We were up in northern NY for the holiday weekend, so we'll have lots of photos to share in a day or two. In the meantime, here's Ellie just before bedtime tonight...you can tell she had a fun trip!

Riding Whinny

Ellie was 7 months old the first time she rode a miniature horse. Last year she was too shy to ride, but this year she rode happily!
