Tomorrow I'll leave for my first trip away from Ellie...I'll be going to Charlotte to help my parents with their move. When Ellie expressed lots of sadness about being away from me, I decided to make the 2 of us matching bracelets. (Side note: I used to make these same bracelets for my dad and me when he went away.) Ellie picked out the colors and I got to work. Now whenever we feel sad this weekend, we can look at our bracelets and feel closer to each other.

Ellie has had a hard time going to sleep ever since transitioning to her big kid bed back in December. The freedom to get out of bed is overwhelming to her! To make sleep times a little easier on all of us, Annette and I recently started a sticker chart for Ellie. On Tuesday she earned her 1st reward: She got to choose a restaurant for all of us to visit (Ellie loves restaurants almost as much as her Mama does!).
